I mean no offense by this, but you would increase comments by offering some engagement. I’m almost certain this is why you have silent readers. It would be more incentive for people to comment when there is the possibility that you might respond. Otherwise, comments don’t feel as special. I’ve noticed this with quite a few creators recently. However, I do understand that you are likely busy.
I understand. I really am busy, but I don’t think me not replying to every comment I get is the issue, otherwise my comics wouldn’t be getting comments on other groups and websites.
I’m not a very talkative person, I’m not good with engagement either, but I wish I was, because I know that’d help, and while I love comments, I just don’t see the point of replying « thank you » to every single comment, even tho I am grateful.
I used to do that a long time ago, but now I just leave a « likes » to let people know I saw their comment, which I usually do while I’m precisely working on the comics, because I’m not the kind of person who writes a reply to a message in just a minute.
I always want my replies to differ so that people didn’t feel like it was just copy-paste, and I’m not good at thinking fast.
This has been an amazing comic. Both men are absolutely beautiful, especially together And especially in the special ADULT 18+ set of comixxx that you made for their first time together. HOT like the sun! I know it’s tedious and involves long, long hours, but your work is phenomenal. Honestly I’d love to see a special ADULT 18+ set of comixxx of Conrad and Gavin or even Piers and Chris, but Blaze and King will do for now.

I see that you’ve been feeling down and unappreciated, and I’d like to provide what support and comfort I can.
I’ve enjoyed your work for years. Your work is actually how I discovered the Nivanfield Fandom, and it gave me a lot of joy. I grew up knowing I was gay in a time when it was a stigma. Matthew Shepard and Scott Amedure are part of my past, not history. You created characters that had respectful relationships, literally the perfect partnership that I only got to see straight couples get.
Your art and stories have continually made me feel like non-straight people had a voice, had material they could see and absorb that didn’t present a gay stereotype, and I have recommended your works to many friends and people I know.
Whatever you decide, know that your work is appreciated, and that what you have created DID mean something to someone. I can only speak for myself, but if my failure to provide support with your frequent updates contributed to your feeling unappreciated, than you have my apology.
A true fan of your work should not let you go feeling neglected.
