Dear Lito,
I would like to share my feelings after reading Reed900 (kudos to Linh Macdonald for co-writing).
Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to play the game, but before I started reading I familiarized myself with the plot and characters on YT.
I understand why you decided to focus on Gavin, the development of such an arrogant and rude character must have brought you a lot of joy.
This webcomic is one of the best I’ve ever read.
The plot, atmosphere, colors, characters and even their clothes and styling are amazing. The level of detail is jaw-dropping – I can’t imagine the amount of work you put into creating this gem 🙂
–spoilers alert–
The Beginning – I really liked the scene of Gavin’s first meeting with Conrad, what charmed me was Gavin’s apartment, the warm daylight coming into the bedroom created a cozy atmosphere.
Of course Izzie is the cutest 🙂
I love that you clearly highlighted the height difference between them. Conrad is taller, but Gavin has wider shoulders – it makes their dynamics more intense. When Conrad invaded Gavin’s personal space and started to adjust the collar of his jacket, Gavin’s reaction is priceless XD Or when Conrad licked Gavin’s fingers while looking into his eyes XD
Family Business – Great plot! The change in Conrad’s image – with that light stubble he’s perfect. The clothing designs are insane.
Far Away North – what an emotional rollercoaster, those funny scenes of Conrad teasing Gavin interspersed with the suffocation scene…
After The Storm – that part hurt, I had a lump in my throat. And when two suicides were committed I couldn’t hold back the tears.
Thank you for these emotions, your comics are amazing!
Hi! And thank you so much for commenting! I’m glad you enjoyed all the comics! They were all indeed a lot of work but I’m happy people still come to read them today! It was worth it! Thanks! Big hugs!
