Recently started playing RE6 again and I swear it reignited my Nivanfield desires. So I’m really glad my bff sent me here and I was able to enjoy this sweet story. Definitely prefer it over the games ending. Everything flows so well and feels authentic like it could really be the character’s history and stuff. Thanks for creating this! I hate it’s ovdr already but loved what we got and a happy ending. :3

I found you on Tumblr because I was looking for fan fiction about the Resident Evil universe. I love « Chreon », but when I came across your comics « Nivanfield », my jaw dropped – I devoured them 🙂
I’ve always loved comics – especially DC Batman, but there were times when the drawing style didn’t appeal to me, because the artists changed often and each of them had a completely different concept of the character…
I’ve never read comics based on 3D graphics before. I have no idea about character rendering, I only read on your website that you use the game’s original 3D models, rendered in Blender and edited with Photoshop.
I think it’s a REVELATION because in your comics the characters are mega realistic and have their original look that I’m used to.
As for « Nivanfield », I played and love Resident Evil 6. I’ve always thought that Piers Nivans is one of the most underrated characters in the whole RE…

The whole « Nivanfield » series is great, everything is coherent thanks to the added flashbacks.
In « 6 Months » I liked the scene of Chris’ first meeting with Piers the most. The expression on Piers’ face when he looked at Chris is insane – no wonder Chris was immediately charmed. In general, the whole style and colors in which you create these comics appealed to me very much – the fight scenes are darker.
« Code: Redfields » is simply brilliant, I laughed at the discussion « what goes inside Piers’ mouth » XD
And « Lovers In Arms » – a satisfying happy ending and the appearance of Leon S. Kennedy (!). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for adding him. In my opinion, he’s a god and I really liked the way you portrayed him: as a playboy, a womanizer, elegantly dressed and driving a Ferrari I think – I don’t know exactly what that red car is. I’m drooling 🙂
Now I’m going to read REED900 – I have no idea about the game, so before I start reading I’ll do some research on what it’s about and who the main characters are, because I can already see that there’s an amazing pair of handsome guys there 🙂

Thank you! I completely understand what you mean regarding hand-drawn comics! I use to read the Tomb Raider comics before, but the change of artist/drawings and characterization always kind of broke the magic and immersion. While by using 3D, I can ensure that their looks stay 100% faithful and characters stay recognizable, so that people who played the games already feel the connection from the beginning. I’m glad you enjoyed the Resident Evil comics! They were my very first stories! Reed900 was my second and I’m also very proud of them as well! I hope you’ll enjoy them! And maybe the Life is Strange and El Blaze & the King ones too if you’re willing to give them a chance later!
